Sorel Gibelotte
1 lb (or less) of grilled bacon (454 g)
4 cups of potatoes (1 liter)
1 big onion
2 lb of barbottes (fish) (900 g)
2 cups of canned or diced raw carrots (finely diced) (500 ml)
1 cup of green peas (250 ml)
1 can (10 oz) of sweet corn with cream (284 ml)
1 can (10 oz) of water (284 ml)
1 ½ teaspoon of salt (8 ml)
Pepper to tast
Butter
Cover the bottom of the cooking pot with the grilled bacon. Add dices of
potatoes, onion, carrots, peas, sweet corn, tomato cream and water. Cover.
Cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
Add the barbottes 10 minutes before the end of the cooking.
