Champlain Lake
The river Richelieu ends with the Champlain Lake,
a big part of which is situated in the United-States, taking us away down
to New York. It is 180 kilometres long and like the story of the Loch Ness,
legend says that the Champlain Lake has its own monster named “Champie”!
The lake is characterized by the fact that it was a communication road,
a trade area and important battles were fought there.
