Tracle galettes
2 ½ cups of flour (350 g)
1 teaspoon of soda for pastry (5 ml)
1 teaspoon of salt (5 ml)
2/3 cups of drippings (160 g)
½ cup of sugar (115 g)
1 egg
½ cup of treacle (125 ml)
½ cup of milk (125 ml)
Work the drippings jinto a cream and gradually add the egg and the sugar.
Then add the dry ingredients, while gradually adding milk as well. Put on
a greased boilerplate.
Cook at 350 F/180 C (T/6) for 10 to 15 minutes.
