The Charente
Catchment area has a low altitude and a quite flat relief. We find
a succession of plateaux and plains, around wide and not deep valleys. We find there granite, porphyry, and crystalline schist. A lot of the lands are calcareous. The highest point is at 345 m, in the Massif de l’Arbre, in Charente. Click here to see the map of the relief of the river Charente |
